While the Raiders won the SB last year, I think the boosts might put the Chiefs as the frontrunner, especially now that they aren't relying on Kenney on about every play. Drafting RB Hill was huge, despite Hill not being Hall of Fame calibre.

1984 Passing Leaders

Leaders are in bold.

  • Montana will probably win the MVP again. He had 15 wins and led in both comp% and low INT%. His TDs and Passing Yardage were lower than last year, however.
  • Marino leads in yards, but his INTs seem a bit high for him.
  • Rookie Hostetler had a middling year.
  • White led in TDs, but he also had a lot of INTs.
  • Kelly regressed after being rookie of the year last year.
  • Young will probably get rookie of the year.
  • Esiason had a decent year for a rookie.
  • Dickey led the league in most INTs
  • Ferragamo's team won in spite of him. He rarely threw and still threw 20 INTs.
  • Williams had the lowest comp%, but he also threw fewer passes than anyone else.

Wow my Bengals went from being out of the playoffs to making it to the Super Bowl. It's all about just getting in baby. Never know what will happen after that.

Anderson had boosted clutch. Clutch is more emphasized in the playoffs.

@ebrk85 both Curtis and Montgomery regress for their final seasons.

@vcczar Upchurch regresses for his final season.

Re-signing time!

Who do you resign? Below are their names the contract they want

@vcczar

I can afford to sign only 3 of these C's or upgrade one to B.

  • Bears backup QB Evans for D
  • Bears WR Carter for C
  • Bears C Hilgenberg for B
  • Bear G Bortz for C
  • Bears DT McMichael for A
  • Bears MLB Singletary for A
  • Bears CB Lewis for C
  • Bears P Parsons for C
  • Broncos WR Watson for A
  • Broncos CB Ross for C
  • Cowboys backup QB Hogeboom refuses to resign
  • Cowboys RB Dorsett for A
  • Cowboys G Scott for B
  • Cowboys K Septien for C
  • Oilers QB Moon refuses to resign
  • Oilers RB Cambell for A
  • Oilers P James for C

@ebrk85

Bengals can resign one of these C contracts, but if will block them from drafting a C-grade rookie or free agent if they get the opportunity to get one as they already have 2/3 allowable C's under contract. You could also upgrade one of these to a B contract to avoid blocking out your C slots.

  • Bengals backup QB Brunner for C
  • Bengals K Breech for C
  • Colts backup QB Schlichter for B
  • Colts P Stark for C
  • Eagles WR Quick for A
  • Rams QB Ferragamo for A
  • Rams DE Youngblood for A

@Rezi

Browns will lock out their C-slots if Bahr is resigned, which means you won't be able to draft a C-grade rookie or free agent if they get the opportunity. The alternate is to give Bahr a B-grade contract. For Chargers, signing both Muncie and Joiner will lock you out of drafting an A-grade rookie or A-grade free agent, if you get that opportunity.

  • Bills RB Craig for A
  • Browns backup QB Sipe refuses to resign
  • Browns RB Pruitt for A
  • Browns CB Dixon for A
  • Browns K Bahr for C
  • Bucs RB Wilder for B
  • Bucs DE Selmon for A
  • Bucs P Landeta for C
  • Chargers RB Muncie for A
  • Chargers WR Joiner for A
  • Giants backup QB Simms refuses to resign
  • Giants OLB Taylor for A
  • Giants MLB Carson for A
  • Giants P Jennings for C

@OrangeP47

  • Cardinals QB Lomax for A
  • Cardinals T Sharpe for A
  • Jets RB Byner for C
  • Jets WR Walker for A
  • Jets T Powell for A
  • Jets DT Klecko for B
  • Jets K Leahy for C
  • Lions K Murray for C
  • Saints RB Rogers for A
  • Seahawks QB Krieg for A
  • Seahawks SS Easley for A

@matthewyoung123

The 49ers can only sign 2 of those A-contracts below. If you think you'll have a opportunity for an A-grade rookie or A-grade FA, then you'll only want to sign 1.

  • Chiefs WR Carson for B
  • Chiefs DE Still for B
  • Chiefs DE Mann for A
  • Chiefs K Lowery for C
  • 49ers WR Clark for A
  • 49ers DE Marshall for A
  • 49ers FS Lott for A
  • 49ers K Wersching for C
  • Packers WR Lofton for A
  • Packers P Hansen for C
  • Patriots G Hannah for A
  • Patriots P Camarillo for C
  • Redskins backup QB Theismann refuses to resign
  • Redskins DE Manley for A
  • Redskins DE Townsend for B

@jnewt

Raiders will not be able to resign 2 of those demanding A contracts. If you think you'll have an oportunity for an A-grade rookie or A-grade free agent, then you'll want to not sign 3 A-contracts.

  • Dolphins WR Duper for A
  • Dolphins C Stephenson for A
  • Dolphins G Kuechenberg for A
  • Dolphins P Roby for C
  • Falcons QB Stabler for A
  • Falcons backup RB Andrews refuses to resign
  • Falcons CB Daniels for C
  • Falcons KR Johnson for C
  • Raiders backup QB Wilson refuses to resign
  • Raiders WR Branch for A
  • Raiders TE Christansen for A
  • Raiders DE Long for A
  • Raiders DE Alzado for A
  • Raiders SS Duerson for B
  • Raiders K Bahr for C
  • Raiders P Guy for A
  • Steelers backup QB Malone for B
  • Steelers C Webster for A
  • Steelers K Anderson for C
  • Vikings backup QB Wilson for B
  • Vikings DT Johnson for A

I might not get these processed until Monday.

You are the only owner without any potential issues, mainly because you selected the weakest teams when we started.

I mean, I know it doesn't exactly hold true now a days, and I do only have limited NFL knowledge, but growing up I always said the Lions were my team because I was trying to be ironic and support the worst team lol.
