Same man. Had a lot of fun in it. I’m a lean introvert but I manage to put off a good show when it comes to public speaking. Got an A in the class so I mean, guess I did something right lol.

My most memorable moment was when we had to write the same speech twice for two audiences, once for the class, and once for a random audience that we pulled out of a hat (5 year olds, WW2 veterans, your parents, and whatever). I drew Mexican immigrants. I translated the entire speech and gave it in Spanish. Teacher was initially pissed but ultimately respected it.

I could speak Spanish pretty good in High School but man, I’ve forgotten most of it since 2020-2021. I just can’t be arsed. I wish my school gave me more options back in HS… would much rather learn Latin, French, or something else.

I evolved from being into STEM into the humanities in general over the course of middle school and into high school. A job in the computer science field was something that I always felt was in the cards for me, but as I started to expand my political horizons I began to drift away from that. By high school politics became my passion, and gaming and computers get relegated to just a hobby for me. Yeah our politics stuck, but if anything it draws me in. I feel a sense of urgency to try and change things for the better, even if most of the things I'd like to see would likely never happen. I'm still a junior, but I graduate in a year and (less than) three months. I still have some time to think about what I exactly what, though I think I have it set in stone for the most. I just wish we had more support for the humanities, were getting left behind because of the great STEM menace 😤
