  1. I'll work on points tomorrow. Thank you for doing all this @Arkansas Progressive
  2. House Chairs- George Vest- Domestic William Wilshire- Economic John O Pendleton- Foreign Campbell Polson Berry- Judicial All other members are assigned in the leadership tab.
  3. OK, I guess I just misunderstood your initial message. I thought you said no one would challenge if I ran for those offices. Oh well. My bad. Will endorse Mitchell in the Senate. At lease Sheridan got Speaker before he retires (he's getting up there in age).
  4. Lapham for Senate Leader & Zapato for Majority Whip. Sheridan for Speaker & Churchill for Majority Whip
  5. President Pattison will take on Pennsylvania Gov Chauncey F Black as his protégé. Removed two pairings that were no longer valid from my faction (both Kingmakers retired).
  6. William E Russell of MA in SKing faction Woodrow Wilson of NJ in Mark_W faction
  7. Wade will filibuster National Suffrage for White Male Property Owners in Federal Elections Amendment. Hale will filibuster US Dollar as the nation's currency using a gold standard--free of paper money and silver to cause deflation

  9. I belive I'm still stuck with my current faction leader, Webster.
  10. Due to ideology draft restrictions some factions will naturally have more politicians than others. Also, I ran the game 3 different times and the initial draft order seemed to be the same in each game. Need to male sure that's randomized if it isn't already.
  11. I'm away from the sheets until at least Sunday evening so if you wanted to add up the floor votes and see what's passed and what didn't, go ahead. Then you can hit voting shenanigans if you want. I can do points when I get back. Thanks!
  12. And now the Democrats have a majority in both Houses and the Presidency. Nice.
  13. Voting for Will until he returns from vacation (this weekend I think)
  14. 35th US Congress- Please vote on the following legislation before the Congress. We will be without the votes of Milledge L. Bonham and Sen. Sumner for this session. Bonham is under investigation and Sumner is incapacitated for this session. For the Congressional investigation into Bonham, there were no rules that I could find for Congressional investigations in either this phase OR in 3.0, so I will adopt the Court Martial Rules in 3.0 for this purpose. "1-2 die roll chance removed from the game. 3-4 die roll removed from office. 5-6 die roll absolved." The roll is a 4, so Bonham will be removed from office, but remain in the game. He cannot be reappointed to the House, but he can run again for the office in 1858, but not as an incumbent. 15. Added by Eric in December to the rules; "After the committee votes, the chairs will have the option to package any of the passing legislation or leave them separate." To me, that includes replacement bills as they are auto-approved in committee. But if you see something in the rules that says differently, I'm willing to make adjustments!
  16. Are you packaging any legislation or will they all stand on their own?
  17. FOR Committee Chairs ONLY. You can REPLACE the bill if it is in italics. You may only replace 1 bill in the committee if there are multiples. The bill you replace must be of the same committee. For example, you can't replace a Foreign/Military bill with a Domestic bill and so on. Committee Chairs may also package some or all of the bills in their committee to move to the floor vote.
