    Hancock is a 1 Gov. 38/20 so his GOV action fails, but he will still need to organize delegates for the 1860 Democratic Convention.

    Ligon- 5/20 so success! 2/5 to increase dom stability. It is also a success! Dom-stab moves from 2 to 3, Violent Protests and remains in crisis. @Arkansas Progressive Ligon rolls to gain Command and lose obscure as his state action has impacted a national meter. 81/50 12/50. He also has a 50% chance to gain +1 Governing. 45/50. So, Ligon loses Obscure and Gains +1 Gov (but not Command). 100pts for Labor Unions.

    Not to put a damper on anyone's parade, but Phil Gramm was a Republican in 2000, and definitely NOT a Democrat. He switched parties from Blue to Red in 1983. I know, because I was present at his "Presidential announcement" in the 1996 campaign. He announced it in my former hometown of Columbus, GA. He was born on Ft. Benning (now Ft. Moore). He eventually lost the nomination to Bob Dole.

Conventions- The Republican party announce that their 1860 National convention will be held in Philadelphia, PA. @10centjimmy Governor Pollock of PA to set the delegates for the convention. The Democrats announce that their 1860 National convention will be held in St. Louis, MO. @theFreezerFlame Governor Hancock Lee Jackson to set delegates for the convention.

    Bissell- 46/20 so fails. Bingham- 100/20 so fails. Bashford- 18/20, so success! WI now has 4 year terms for GOV, and the new term of office will start with the next GOV election in the midterms. Chase- 4/60, 6/60. Success for both! OH now has 4 year terms for GOV, and the new term of office will start with the next GOV election in the midterms. Salmon P. Chase has also built a political machine in Ohio, resulting in a +1 for all @Willthescout7 candidates that stand for election in Ohio in both the "primaries" and the General election. 67/10 so no decrease in honest gov meter.

You can find your Governors on your individual faction sheets, or you can look at the GovState tab. It's a good idea to look at the GovState tab anyway since that's where the information is about state elections, terms in office, and what actions have already been taken previously in your state.     Impact of Era Evo's- If the president nets positive points, their faction enthusiasm has a 25% chance of increasing by +1. 82/25 so no increase in Trad enthusiasm. If a faction from the opposite party gains the most points, moderate enthusiasm moves +1. Mods move +1 Red to +2 Red.
