  1. DeSantis isn't even much better than Trump on that front. I guess Elon Musk is a good pick to double down.
  2. Ron DeSantis already flopping hard right now, boy is just trying to get some momentum going... with Elon Musk of all people.
  3. Truly the most ideal of societies.
  4. Beholding the Supreme Court to public opinion for one puts too much faith into humanity, but it also (I think) renders the point of the court moot. At that point we might as well become a direct democracy and decide everything via referenda.
  5. I'm stubborn and fairly dogmatic when it comes to voting (or I guess how I plan to vote. Only two years away.) I'll cast my ballot for a third party unless all of the candidates they put up are insane (this will likely be the case in 2024 unfortunately. Damn you Mises.).
  6. 1. Mishfox will take a gamble and do a show of force, campaigning in majority Jewish neighbourhoods through Queens and into Brooklyn. No better to make amends than to show your face right? 2. Mish stumps his way through Brooklyn, meeting with folks and ending off with a big rally. 3. The guys at Mishfox headquarters begin to invest money into social media outreach, hoping to build up Mish's cred with younger voters. Endorsement Request: Bernie Sanders
  7. LaGuardia is a nice airport. In fact, a lot of people seem to recognize me. Hmmm.... 1. Mish will embrace the paparazzi and campaign inside the airport, he wouldn't be the first guy to try something like it. 2. Mish leaves and enters the vast world that is the borough of Queens. Lot to do here but Mish takes public transportation over to the neighbourhood of Jackson Heights where he holds a stump rally hoping to boost his credentials in an area ripe for the taking. 3. Immediately after the rally Mish will traverse the streets of Jackson Heights hoping to build on his momentous rally. Endorsement: Taylor Swift
  8. 1. Mishfox releases a statement regarding recent revelations “Firstly, I will come out and say that I have never come out and intentionally say things that would be considered anti-semetic. In fact if you dig through my past you would see sentiments of pro-Israeli rhetoric. But whatever the ADL got their hands on, I take full responsibility for and apologize profusely for it. Our crusade cannot succeed if it excludes anybody based on creed, and I will move shortly to make amends with the Jewish community the best I can. Thank you.” 2. Mishfox made a promise to visit UC Berkeley, and he isn’t a man to break promises. He pickets students, engages in one on one conversations, and attends an event set up by the university’s DSA chapter to promote his message. 3. After finishing up in UCB, he simply barnstorms the city of Berkeley to get his name rec up. As the night falls, Mish decides to stay at a motel for now. Going online he looks and finds a ticket going from Oakland Air to LaGuardia. It’s with Spirit of all airlines, but Mish won’t pretend he’s rich. Why would he anyway? Pigs deserve their just deserts more than anything, Endorsement request: Rep. Barbara Lee
  9. Little mistake here. Maybe he recruited ghost people or something.
  10. 1. San Francisco, California "My fellow Americans, our nation is under siege by the radical right. Homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, restriction in our reproductive rights, the silencing of anyone who isn't a cis white male, post-stage capitalism, anti-science, climate change denial, misinformation pedaling, and so much more plague our nation. They claim it's under the guise of protecting "traditional values". But we understand full well that it's those values that seek to turn back the clock and destroy all progress that we as a society have made. Sadly, we already have some candidates in the race who purvey said reactionary rhetoric. Pringles and ConservativeElector to be specific. And don't count on the establishment to fight back. If anything they are complacent with the current status quo of the reactionary politics that have consumed our nation. So I call on the silenced, the oppressed, and any allies sympathetic to our cause. The working class labourer oppressed by bourgeois capitalism, the racial minorities oppressed by white supremacist institutions, the many members of the LGBTQIA+ community who are constantly under attack, the lowly student who is simply looking to make real change, and any else in-between. Rise I say, rise! The time for a crusade is upon us! Not a religious crusade oh no, a crusade for the advancement of the oppressed. A crusade against the reactionary forces that are working to tear America down! Get out of the house brothers and sisters, because we haven't got a chance unless we band together, organize, and then vote!" 2. After finishing up his speech, Mish travels over to San Francisco State University where he aims to begin a greater mission of organizing young activists to his cause. It's San Francisco, so recruiting folks shouldn't be too difficult right? 3. Mish wraps up his visit to SFSU and barnstorms San Francisco as he makes his way to his next big target, UC Berkeley. Endorsement request: Dr. Cornel West.
  11. I'm hesitant to believe that Tik Tok is just some front for the CCP to commit mass surveillance on millions of Americans. They likely already have been doing that by other means anyway, but I guess it wouldn't hurt for them to add on. At the cost of liberty of course, though it certainly isn't the same form of surveillance. The NSA logs degenerate shit people look up and calls it a day. Maybe the FBI will wire-tap every once in a while. In say China they log people to enforce compliance. Either way, I find both harmful.
  12. Tik Tok as an platform is a cesspool, but having the federal government just straight up ban an app from public use doesn't sit right for me.
  13. No need to worry, I'm not gonna get mad over a fake twitter post. Just caught me off guard.
  14. I evolved from being into STEM into the humanities in general over the course of middle school and into high school. A job in the computer science field was something that I always felt was in the cards for me, but as I started to expand my political horizons I began to drift away from that. By high school politics became my passion, and gaming and computers get relegated to just a hobby for me. Yeah our politics stuck, but if anything it draws me in. I feel a sense of urgency to try and change things for the better, even if most of the things I'd like to see would likely never happen. I'm still a junior, but I graduate in a year and (less than) three months. I still have some time to think about what I exactly what, though I think I have it set in stone for the most. I just wish we had more support for the humanities, were getting left behind because of the great STEM menace 😤
  15. LBJ getting this far is a crime against humanity.
  16. To be fair, when we start to delve into culture war issues then naturally things are going to get heated. If we want to get mundane, anyone up for a debate on tort reform?
  17. 7.) Personally pro-life, but abortion is a decision of the conscious. It's no one's place to get involved. 34.) The CRT thing is just one huge fear-mongering tactic from the right, but as an issue on its own I couldn't give two shits about it.
