  1. No drafting from places that aren't territories, except if it's ME (part of MA) or WV (part of VA).
  2. Yea it's been a rule for a while, that's why there's a CPU about placing backroom politics track for states that are still territoriesl
  3. could have sworn I had them, oh well, will edit in post

  5. I personally dont think communism is inherently set up to establish authoritarian regimes. Unfortunately history said "nah" and did them all over the place. In general, I'm for the reformation of capitalism via the increasing power of state intervention to prevent economic poverty - something like Democratic Socialism.
  6. I think if the US ever had communism, it wouldn't be what the Red Scare conservatives envisioned. I sure as hell dont support captialism without reform, and communism (non-authoritarian government) is a possible reform. Also iirc communism isnt the end all be all, but a path to kicking out the bourgeoise. TLDR, he was alright. I approve.
  7. Platforms only matter with regards for determining candidate's strengths. If at least 2 planks are passed they get +2 for incumbent, if all 4 are passed, they get a +3. Otherwise nothing with regards to platforms
  8. Nah I got it. Should have prefaced it better. Admittedly the only posts I make are issues with logic problems in the rules, or lack of CPU clarification
  9. Amendments to the Constitution do not count as "bills" that governors can challenge at the Supreme Court (since Amendments are now apart of the Constitution via ratification) Based on Bushwa's CPU test, it feels odd that Amendments can be challenged by govs when in reality such legislation isn't an enforceable mechanism - it's self enforced.
  10. @ebrk85 if you need a hand, I could take over the CPU faction so it's one less thing to manage
  11. Abolish Slavery by Compensating Owners Act (crisis reroll)
  12. @Zagnut the bill established the District of Columbia as the seat of the US Government (capitol), but did not establish the city of the same. That was done in 1806-1808. The pres action then allowed President Ogle to incorporate DC into a city and established the appointment of mayors (which continued until 1979 with DC Home Rule). Making DC a state (giving it Reps/Sens/Gov) is done via a bill that can be proposed as early as 1948.

  14. Marshall proposes Authorize the construction of ironlcad warships for the Navy (rolled for party help)
  15. I'm in two and could GM again if necessary. I got time now.
  16. I updated Gramm on the master sheet. Added "Can Party Flip" along with a "Flip Year" of 1983
  17. I'm interested in CPUing where/when needed. You got my email so lemme know! Best wishes.
