MrPotatoTed
@Arkansas Progressive If you want to retire 80 year old Ruth Bader Ginsberg, I'll replace her with @Arkansas Progressive 46-year-old J Michelle Childs.
MrPotatoTed
My nominee to replace Clarence Thomas will be @10centjimmy Ketanji Brown Jackson. Action to @Arkansas Progressive and @Bushwa777 to decide whether to retire their judges per our discussions above.
DJBillyShakes
I think that Chertoff or Comey is the strategically optimal move here. The next Republican president can appoint the justice to the cabinet and replace them with a more conservative option if @Murrman104 would accept moving his justice to the cabinet. Or we bet that Scalia could survive until the next Republican president.

MrPotatoTed
I'm going to tighten the pot a little. The only Republicans I'll consider are @Bushwa777 Louis Freeh or @ShortKing Paul A Suttell. The truth is that I believe my Democrat nominees will be confirmed regardless, and if they're not I still get to choose a moderate blue as the emergency backup. Still, I offer you the chance to stick in the Supreme Court for approximately 20 more years, if you want it.

Sorry, I'm not interested in Comey anymore. I'd accept your Freeh or @ShortKing's Suttell. Or we can leave Scalia on the court well into his 80s. MrPotatoTed
Excellent! @Rodja, President Obama nominates @10centjimmy Kentnaji Jackson Brown to replace Clarence Thomas. He also nominates @Bushwa777 Louis Freeh to replace the retiring @Bushwa777 Anton Scalia. Finally, if @Arkansas Progressive is willing to retire RBG, I'll nominate @Arkansas Progressive J Michelle Childs.

Murrman104
No it doesn't but this rule was made due to the shenanigans that occured in the 1960 test where the reds elected a speaker, appointed him ambassador to the u.k and then appointed another speaker to double dip roles . Probably the most important change to come from that test

To be frank if I made all the human players abide by those same percentages we'd still be trying to put together 1954's cabinet 😂😭 1
