Ich_bin_Tyler
House Speaker needs 149 votes. Ballot 3 The CPUs of all factions will randomly select a candidate to support. Whigs all support John P Hale for 188 votes Dems all support Isham G Harris for 109 votes Progressive five term Rep John P Hale of NH is elected Speaker. Hale loses Obscure, gains Legis+1. (As a side note, I would support leadership races to 5 ballots or have the CPUs all support on the 4th.) The Silver Whigs are now in charge of both chambers of Congress.
