Jeff Sessions, Tommy Tuberville, Mo Brooks, Martha Roby. Tuberville is a sitting Senator. Mo Brooks is the Republican candidate for the other Senate seat. Sessions is 75 and unemployed, which per game rules means he's retiring. Martha Roby is a Representative. There's nobody left to run for the remaining Alabama seat even though it should be red. Is Doug Jones not in the game?
MrPotatoTed
As for which Rep I use, I just roll a die among those who are currently Reps and running for re-election in 2024. (If it was obvious who in a given state the Rep should be, they'd likely already be in the game.)

Obviously it can't be you, you've got other things to focus on. In the meantime, for situations like what I flagged with Alabama, I am creating one real-life Rep to fill the seat. They're all very basic, 1 legislative skill, 1 experience, no traits. Proper birth year, proper state, 1-2 sentence bio. I'm happy to send them to you when you're ready to see them some day, but no rush. Could generate them to use the generator.
MrPotatoTed
Just now, vcczar said: Could generate them to use the generator. Definitely could, but my desire was to create a "modern day" playthrough, starting at approximately today. Not fake people, and nobody running who isn't running in real life. So beginning with the 2022 elections, everyone who has already won their real-world primary is automatically the general election candidate, and I only run primaries for people who have actually declared. So, even if I hadn't retired Jeff Sessions for being 75 and unemployed, he still wouldn't be running for the Rep seat because that's not what he's doing in real life right now. That's why I'm manually adding Reps where I don't have an accurate real-life candidate to fill that slot.

Look at adding Congressman Mike Rogers from AL. I know he's been there at least 10 years. He was my Congressman when I lived there over a decade ago and is still in the House. Very Red East Alabama district around Lee County, AL and Auburn. Thanks.
