Donald Trump: 12%(-28)

Ted Cruz: 9%(-3)

Lindsey Graham: 7%(+2)

*Once again, national polling is a combination of momentum(which has already been graded on a curve for polls because of how poorly everyone did this turn), statewide swings, and results/the impact of results. I just want to make sure my process is transparent here, and I don't want anyone being concerned about this or that polling change and thinking I update polling frivolously.

In a surprise move, Ted Cruz will suspend his campaign. He will instead endorse Lindsey Graham and Donald Trump. He urges voters to back Hilary if by any chance Jeb! or Ben Carson wins.

1. Jeb! Bush will reach out to the New York Conservative Party and New York Independence Party. He meets with their leadership to discuss possible getting on their ballot lines in the general election, regardless of whether he wins the Republican nomination or not.

2. Jeb! Bush goes to Pennsylvania to meet with Rick Santorum looking for an endorsement.

3. Jeb! Bush holds a rally in Connecticut.

Ben Carson calls Ted Cruz a pathetic cracker. Saying Donald shouldve dropped out first.

Anyways,

Ben Carson will blitz Wyoming until the finish line. 2x

Carson seeks the endorsement of Mayor Kevin Faulconer of San Diego.

(Barb notified me that he won't be able to do his events this turn, so I'm just doing an absence roll for Trump)

Trump Absence Roll: 7. Trump takes a week of the campaign trail, and while this does leave the media starved for rally content, none of Donald's supporters abandon him in the wake of his absence, with some voters even becoming interested in the campaign as the media is sent into a frenzy by Trump's surprise disappearance.

Lindsey Graham Endorsement: 5. The Graham half of the endorsement lands well-enough, with a modest portion of Cruz's supporters moving to back Lindsey. However, many still see Graham as a longshot for the nomination, and others simply don't feel spoken by his campaign, leaving the South Carolina Senator with a smaller inflow of support than what Cruz's second endorsee receives.

Donald Trump Endorsement: 10! Despite some tense moments on the campaign trail and fierce debate back-and-forths, Cruz's supporters embrace Donald Trump as Ted leaves the fight, rallying around Trump's campaign as the new conduit for their rage at the Washington establishment.

2. Jeb! Bush goes to Pennsylvania to meet with Rick Santorum looking for an endorsement.

3. Jeb! Bush holds a rally in Connecticut.

NYCP + NYIP: 5. The two parties are surprised by the request and unsure of how to handle it. The New York Conservative Party, having just lost its endorsee in Ted Cruz, is not yet confident on who it will support next, and the New York Independence Party is unsure of what to make of the situation, with its leadership questioning what Jeb!'s intentions are for his campaign if he's seeking a General Election ballot line in New York.

Rick Santorum: 7. This is yet another strange move from the Bush campaign, however Rick Santorum is pleasantly impressed meeting with Bush. Given his political leanings and Bush's moderate campaign, Rick holds out on endorsing, though he leaves the door open for continued talks with Jeb!'s campaign.

Connecticut: 9. The rally goes splendidly, with strong turnout and an energetic performance by Bush, boosting Jeb!'s Connecticut campaign.

Overall: +6. Jeb! gathers solid momentum on the campaign trail this week, despite some eccentric decisions by his campaign.

Wyoming x2: 10/20(4,6). Carson has a perfectly average time in Wyoming, failing to pick up steam for his campaign in the state while also not declining in his support.

Kevin Faulconer: 10! Kevin gives his full, energetic endorsement to Ben, providing Carson a substantial boost in California.

Overall: +5. Carson's campaign receives a needed injection of momentum, chugging along with a modest performance this week defined by Kevin Faulconer's glowing endorsement.

Lindsay is gonna go to Wyoming and hang out with Liz Cheney

Lindsay will campaign in Wyoming and hold a rally with Mike Enzai

Lindsay will meet voters in Wyoming

Liz Cheney: 6. Liz gives her endorsement to Lindsey, though it makes less of a splash in Wyoming than some in the campaign may have been hoping for.

Mike Enzai: 4. Mike declines to endorse just yet, saying he's still unsure about his preference in the current race, though he leaves the door open for Graham.

Wyoming: 4. Wyomingites seem cold to Lindsey's campaign, with the Senator failing to drum up momentum in the state.

Overall: -1. Lindsey's campaign fails to gather momentum this week, though an endorsement from Liz Cheney and Ted Cruz's surprise dropout and endorsement serve as dual saving graces for the Graham campaign.

Ben hits the trail in Wyoming 2x.

Ben will sit down for dinner some day with Dick Cheney and ask for his endorsement. Telling him about the cool things a guy in South Carolina did for a RP set in the 2008 election.

  2. Jeb! holds a rally in Delaware.
  3. Jeb! sits down with delegates from the Moderate Party of Rhode Island. He would seek ballot access on their line in the general election, should he win the Republican Primary or not.

Republican Debate Results:

Meeting in New York City, the Republican candidates for President once again faced each other on the debate stage, engaging in a heated night of pandering and squabbling ahead of the New York primary and Wyoming caucuses. With New York's result effectively decided and Wyoming lacking in status as high-profile contest, the candidates may have felt content going without practice before this debate, as only one found relative success while the others failed in their quest for more votes on stage. Here is how the night went.

Jeb! Bush(6,10,3): +4. Jeb! Bush, while not excelling in his debate performance, came out of the night as the winner, with his solid performance turning into a victorious performance when compared with the failures of his competitors. He would start off with a simple message, saying, "God bless moderation" in a statement which appealed to those handful of moderate Republicans not yet committed to Bush's campaign. Jeb! would then deliver an excellent attack against one Donald J. Trump, asking, "Why has America forgotten that Donald Trump had a gay affair with my brother? Is this who our party wants to nominate? When was this affair? Before George became President, when Donald was still with his second wife? Or after, when Donald would've been degrading the office of the Presidency with this homosexual affair, potentially cheating on Melania from 2005 onwards and dragging the President of the United States into a sinful, secretive relationship which degrades our nation's highest office? I have a lot of questions here, and they need answers." Donald would respond, breaking down in tears as he proclaimed, "George loved me! He embraced me with his heart and body, and I loved him!", saying nothing more as he quietly cried on stage. To close, Bush would give a less than graceful appeal to Pennsylvania voters, saying he loves "Penners" as he referred to Pennsylvanians. Overall, a good debate night, elevated by the weak performances of Jeb!'s fellow candidates.

Donald Trump(2,9,9): -1. Donald Trump, despite doing well for much of the night, was ultimately dragged down by an attack from Jeb! Bush and minor hit from Lindsey Graham, ending the debate with a minorly damaging performance. Trump would start off poorly, saying his business record was a "bunch of wins", only to have Chris Wallace quickly shoot him down with a fact check as one of the moderators. Donald would bounce back, however, tearing into Ben Carson as a RINO and liberal over his electoral alliance with Jeb! Bush, and successfully championing himself as the candidate for rural voters, espousing his love for agriculture and small, spread-out towns. But then, just as Donald thought he had come out of the debate as a winner, two attacks would bring his night down dramatically, as Jeb! Bush tore into him over his gay love affair with George W. Bush, and as Lindsey Graham did minor damage questioning why Donald has been off the campaign trail lately. With that, Trump ended the debate with some minor damage done to his campaign, suffering from a devastating blow from Jeb! Bush while still being shielded from a significant loss by his success earlier in the night.

Ben Carson(2,5,8): -4. Ben Carson, failing to excel throughout the night and being hit with a damaging attack from Donald Trump, suffered a poor, though not disastrous, debate night. He would start off with a poorly delivered opening statement, promising to be the "first Republican nominee to win the Black vote since Nixon", only being reminded that his debate notes stated the correct nominee, Eisenhower, after the debate, once the media had already begun pointing out the gaffe. Carson would then attack Trump as a "lying son of a bitch", referring to him as a "cracka" in a moment which inspired just as many anti-Trump Black Republicans as it did turn away those offended by Carson's language and use of the C-word. Carson would then give a strong appeal to Californians, only for this short success to be smacked down by Donald Trump's attacks on Ben as a "RINO liberal". Overall, a poor night for Carson.

Lindsey Graham(6,1,1): -9. Lindsey Graham emerged from the debate as the loser of the night, falling flat on his face with two destructive gaffes. Lindsey would start off with a momentary success, doing minor damage to Trump over his recent time off from the campaign trail, but then Graham's performance would take an immediate nosedive. The Senator would attempt an appeal to Wyomingites, only to say, "I love Wyoming. With these coming Acela primaries, I'm glad to start my campaign's fight in the northeast with Wyoming, and I love that sweet, Atlantic shoreline which Wyoming has.", with Graham apparently thinking Wyoming is located on the eastern seaboard with the Acela primary states. Lindsey's troubles would continue, however, as he promised that he is the only candidate who can, "save Iran from Israel", promising to "wipe Israel off the map to defend Iran" in a seemingly prolonged gaffe which the Senator did not catch until after the debate. Overall, a horrible night.

Mike Enzai: 5. Mike continues his refusal to endorse, saying he simply isn't interested in backing Graham.

Wyoming: 9. Lindsey will have a great time in Wyoming, rallying voters behind his neoconservative campaign.

Dick Cheney: 9. Dick endorses! This provides Graham a boost of momentum in Wyoming.

Overall + Debate: -1. Despite a disastrous debate performance, Graham miraculously bounces back, with his successes in Wyoming and the endorsement of Dick Cheney allowing his campaign to avoid a major collapse in momentum.

Wyoming x2: 6/20(3,3). Carson struggles in Wyoming, as voters seem unreceptive to his campaign with the recent rise of his competitors in the state, Trump and Graham.

Dick Cheney: 5. Cheney is enthralled by this 2008 RP, saying that he, "had so many shenanigans planned, I knew I should've run in '08." However, he does inform Carson that he's already committed himself to Lindsey Graham's campaign, and that he has no intentions of switching allegiances.

Overall + Debate: -8. With a poor debate performance and equally poor time on the campaign trail, Ben Carson struggles this week, backsliding just as the newly competitive state of Wyoming prepares to vote.

Rick Santorum: 6. Finally, and surprisingly, Rick gives in, endorsing Jeb!, giving him unexpected support from the socially conservative, evangelical wing of the Republican Party.

Delaware: 3. The rally goes poorly, with low turnout and Bush giving an unenergetic performance on stage after being discouraged by the small crowd.

MPRI: 10! The Moderate Party endorses, providing Jeb! their ballot line! Meanwhile, volunteers and supporters from the party give Jeb! a solid boost in Rhode Island for the upcoming primary.

Overall + Debate: +8. With solid success on both the debate stage and campaign trail, Jeb!'s campaign strengthens as he approaches a landslide win in New York and continues to assemble a possible contingency plan if the primary doesn't work out...

Wyoming x2: 15/20(7,8). Trump makes strong gains in Wyoming, gathering support and riling up his supporters in the state.

Dick Cheney: 9. Dick has already endorsed Lindsey Graham, and Trump isn't his first choice to endorse. However, Dick is impressed meeting Donald, and openly states it was a "close decision" between him and Graham for his endorsement.

Overall + Debate: +8. Trump's campaign gathers significant steam this week, with successes on the campaign trail pushing him forward ahead of Wyoming and New York.
