2. Claire Underwood begins a scheme to undermine American environmental assets around the globe, in hopes of pinning the blame on Walker.

3. Frank meets with Donald Blythe to see if he can soften up the ultra-liberal wing of the party.

4. Frank attempts to gain allies in the news who he will begin leaking some very valuable information too within the foreseeable future...

5. Claire begins fundraising for her organization... how that money will be used in the future... well, we'll see 😛

You should make separate 2-5 events for Frank and Claire. This counts as 3 events for Player 1(FU) and one event for Player 2(CU).You should add at least one more for Claire and if you want you can add more for Frank as well but you don't have to.

JANUARY-MARCH 2013 TURN ROLLS

Walker-Underwood Meeting

President Garret Walker @Sean F KennedyRolls a 9!

Frank Underwood @PringlesRolls a 2!

President Walker wasn’t particularly friendly to Frank behind closed doors, blaming him for orchestrating the downfall of his Secretary of State nominee Michael Kern, which is of course a correct assumption made by very good political instincts of our President.Frank,of course got a way to get himself out of this situation, shifting the blame on Catherine Durant and pledging his absolute loyalty to Walker Administration and the Democratic party which convinced the President for the time being, but President Walker is the one who walks out of this meeting as the winner since Frank will now need to work in interest of his administration to not make the suspicion come back on him,but does this really mean Frank will work for Garret or will he just make a new plan behind the President’s back?

Walker Healthcare Push

President Garret Walker @Sean F Kennedy Rolls a 2!

Hector Mendoza @The Blood Rolls a 4!

President Walker’s push for expanding healthcare ends up being a failure after he fails to unite various factions of his party.Oh,Garret you didn't realize how hard being a President is when you signed up for it did you?Republican Senate Leader Mendoza tried to use the President's failure to promote the GOP free market but didn’t really resonate with voters.

Congressional Leadership Meeting

President Garret Walker @Sean F Kennedy Rolls a 5!

Bob Birch @Sean F Kennedy Rolls a 5!

Lucas Goodwin @WVProgressiveRolls a 2!

Mark Usher @WVProgressiveRolls a 10!

First meeting between President Walker and Democratic leadership was a very interesting one. Before the meeting started Secret Service caught a man trying to bug a room in Capitol building where the meeting was supposed to happen, the man was identified as Lucas Goodwin, journalist of Washington Herald and was escorted out by the police, transmitting him to DC prison where he will stay waiting for the final sentence which will be either a heavy money fine or two years in prison. After this tense overture, meeting was finally ready to begin.President Walker opened the meeting, but didn’t say anything that was particularly important or fascinating,it was just a typical boring meeting opener. He gave the word next to the man most attendees have never seen before, political strategist Mark Usher.Usher had very clear vision about way forward for the Democratic party, and already gained trust from the President and most of the Democratic leadership by the end of his statement.Usher has definitely earned his role as a major player in DC at this meeting.Bob Birch,Speaker of the House took opportunity to praise Frank Underwood at this meeting but it didn't make any impact on minds of the present, since almost everybody was certain it's part of some game or the deal between the two.

Matthews Interviews

VP Jim Matthews @Sean F KennedyRolls a 10!

Vice President Matthews had fantastic two months going from being in shadow of his boss President Walker to being a complete media rock star. Will he be the shining star or shooting star? Its yet to be seen.

Dem Fundraisers

Democrats @Sean F KennedyRolls a 5!

Congressional Democrats raise just an average sum, nothing more nothing less.

Hammerschmit-Brockhart Interview

Tom Hammerschmit @WVProgressive Rolls a 8!

Hammerschmidt interviewed General Brockhart very professionally, which Washington Herald needed badly to restore its reputation after the Goodwin scandal.

Walker-Durant Meeting

Catherine Durant  @Hestia Rolls a 2!

President Walker convinced by meeting with Frank blames Durant for Mr.Kern’s downfall. The meeting was very tense and relationship between the President and his Secretary could best be described as frenemies right now.

Durant Morning Show Apperances

Catherine Durant  @Hestia Rolls a 6!

Sec.Durant was likable but didn’t make too much of an impact on viewers minds.

Durant State Department Officials Meeting

Catherine Durant @Hestia Rolls a 2!

Professional diplomats heavily dislike Sec.Durant since they preferred Michael Kern and consider her to be a scheme player.

Durant Canada Visit

Catherine Durant @Hestia Rolls a 10!

Catherine Durant proved herself as a fantastic diplomat on her trip negotiating a very profitable trade deal! Her performance is praised throughout the political spectrum and she has proven her doubters wrong

Barnes-Underwood Relationship

Zoe Barnes @WVProgressive Rolls a 8!

Frank Underwood@Pringles Rolls a 10!

Young Washington Herald journalist Zoe Barnes got herself in the dangerous business of investigative journalism, trying to expose corruption of Democratic Whip Frank Underwood. She investigated his links in Gaffney and some corrupt activities in DC and got herself on the track where she could trace a scandal, determined to push until the end, until she got an unexpected visit one night from Frank Underwood himself. His allies from his hometown of Gaffney informed him about young journalist investigating him.He assured her he is not here to threaten but to negotiate a mutually beneficial partnership, she deletes the folder with information on him and he becomes her DC source leaking many valuable information about behind the scene events.Zoe thinks a bit but decides to accept the offer since she believes that it will be great for her journalistic career, not knowing what she just got herself into. After she accepts the offer,Frank compliments her as being both beautiful and smart and the two spend a night together.

Jane Davis and Republicans

Jane Davis @WVProgressive Rolls a 4!

Jane succeeded in getting some connections with Mendoza’s staffers, but the majority of GOP congressmen and their aides are very skeptical about trusting her.

Spinella Legislation Push

Marty Spinella @The Blood Rolls a 5!

Spinella pushes for Education reform, nothing comes out of it but empty promises and statements by DC Democrats.

Tusk lobbying White House

Raymond Tusk @The Blood Rolls a 4!

Tusk got assurance from President Walker that his interests will be kept in mind, but that he can't help him yet,he needs to be patient.Tusk is not too happy with this answer.

Haas Fundraisers

Curtis Haas @The Blood Rolls a 7!

Haas fundraisers were a bit more successful than average Tea Party fundraisers, giving him hopes he could be influential player and potential candidate in 2016.

Conway Book Tour

Will Conway @The Blood Rolls a 3!

Conway book is well read and accepted by readers up until the moment writer Thomas Yates appears on CNN and claims Conway paid him to write a book on his behalf.Conway is mercilessly mocked in the media after this revelation.

Underwood-Blythe Meeting

Frank Underwood @Pringles Rolls a 6!

Frank and Donald dislike each other, but Blythe is an idealist with a line of pragmatic,so he agrees to work with Frank as long as he is at least open to some of his very liberal agenda.

Claire undermining America

Claire Underwood @Pringles Rolls a 10!

The time for Underwoods striking back has come!Claire makes a secret scheme using her foundation as a prop to severely damage US environmental assets in a way nobody can trace it back to her.It causes a public outrage with media blaming President Walker for the disaster while Frank and Claire watch television at home smoking cigarettes by the window and smiling at their revenge starting to unravel.

Claire Fundraises for CWI

Claire Underwood @Pringles Rolls a 6!

With ongoing environmental disaster people feel a need to help an environmental NGO like CWI so Claire’s foundation gets slight increase in donations.

Player 1:@Pringles

FU(Frank Underwood,Doug Stamper)

Administration(President Garret Walker,VP Jim Matthews,Chief of Staff Linda Sanchez)

 Democrats(Bob Birch,Peter Russo,Jackie Sharp,Donald Blythe,Heather Dunbar)

Claire Underwood @PringlesRolls a 10!

CWI Gala gathers all the big shots, politicians, rich guys,Hollywood stars.Claire’s foundation is really cashing in on environmental crises she herself created.

Claire Underwood Promotes...Herself!

Claire Underwood @Pringles Rolls a 10!

CWI Gala and numerous standalone TV appearances on environmental issues caused Claire’s popularity to soar making her much more popular than First Lady Patricia Walker or even President Garret Walker.Claire’s name is even mentioned in some polls for potential 2016 Dem primary if President Walker doesn’t run, although she negates any interest in running for political office, for now.

Jane gets Lucas out of jail

Jane Davis @WVProgressive:Rolls a 5!

Jane successfully pulls strings to get Lucas out of prison, and takes him to her Washington apartment. She asks for his loyalty but Lucas stubborn as he is rejects, telling Jane that she tried to bribe him with liberty. She gets in his face and tells him he can reject the bribery but will soon be back where he belongs and that she is his only hope to be a free man.He takes a deep breath and asks her to let him go home so he can think about her offer, she obliged telling him to call her to inform her about his decision. He calls her in the morning, saying he will work with her but within his moral boundaries, she smiles and tells him he is a smart boy and should know that boundaries of his freedom are within her control, than hangs up.

Usher sends gift baskets

Mark Usher @WVProgressive:Rolls a 7!

Usher quickly rose to be a very trusted and respected ally in Democratic circles in DC and this little token of appreciation just helps.

Skorsky interviews the President

Janine Skorsky @WVProgressiveRolls a 3!

Janine invited President for a pro-administration cakewalk interview, but that is not the welcome Garret got when he arrived,Janine was straightforward aggressive and provocative towards the President asking tough questions and blaming him for environmental crisis even going that far to straight out call him incompetent, after that verbal slip President walked off the interview.Janine’s performance at this interview was widely criticised by most commentators as biased against the President, but earned her praise amongst Republicans.

Matthews goes to Scranton

VP Jim Matthews @Sean F Kennedy:Rolls a 9!

Vice President Matthews' visit to his hometown of Scranton went great as he was greeted by an electrified audience and his message of support for unions greatly resonated.Poll numbers show Matthews as one of most popular modern Vice Presidents.

Durant meets Democrats

Catherine Durant @Hestia :Rolls a 4!

Sec.Durant is a very good diplomat but not that great of a schmoozer, her meeting with Democratic congressmen wasn’t a bad one,but some of them were just visibly bored and wanted to get out of here.

Hammerschmidt Editor Policy

Tom Hammerschmidt  @WVProgressive :Rolls a 3!

While Hammerschmidt is a true old fashioned journalist whose main cause is truth and facts, many of his reporters are biased for one of the major parties,so his plea remains unheard.Goodwin incident doesn’t help Herald’s reputation either.

Durant UN Speech

Catherine Durant  @Hestia:Rolls a 6!

Sec.Durant gave an alright speech promoting US foreign political agenda but failed to even mention the ongoing environmental crisis.

Durant Mexico Trip

Catherine Durant @Hestia:Rolls a 7!

Frank works on image

Frank Underwood @Pringles :Rolls a 8!

Right to Work Laws

Republicans @The Blood:Rolls a 3!

Republicans led by Hector Mendoza try to push the state governments to pass union busting Right to Work laws but the campaign is largely unsuccessful.

Walker Bipartisan Meeting

President Garret Walker @Sean F Kennedy:Rolls a 1!

President Walker attempts to overturn his bad luck last two months by hosting bipartisan event in the Oval Office to try to find bipartisan area of interest he could push the Congress to pass and score major legislative victory.Unfortunately, meeting went in completely different direction with Mendoza mercilessly mocking the President entire meeting, and Democratic Majority Leader David Rasmussen joining him in one moment blaming the President for environmental crisis.President Walker achieved bipartisanship, but bipartisanship in opposition to him.He lost his temper, yelled”Screw you both!” and kicked them outside the office,he uttered to Rasmussen “You will pay for this!”

Dem Leadership Vote

President Garret Walker @Sean F Kennedy:Rolls a 4!

Frank Underwood @Pringles :Rolls a 3!

Peter Russo @Sean F Kennedy:Rolls a 2!

President Walker requested an urgent meeting with Bob Birch after the failed bipartisan meeting in the Oval Office. He arrived with a simple demand for Speaker Birch:Remove David Rasmussen from his position as Majority Leader and replace him with Frank Underwood.Speaker Birch refused, reminding President “he is not the king” but promised he will put the issue on the vote and let congressmen decide about such an important issue.Frank tried to whip every vote he could in his favor. He bribed, threatened and blackmailed but in the end,Democrats ultimately chose to stick with their leader David Rasmussen and stick it to Frank and President Walker.Frank graciously conceded, congratulated David on his reelection and pledged to continue serving as Majority Whip, but Congressman Russo from Pennsylvania challenged him for his position in the party leadership, claiming he should be the new Whip, asking for Leader Rasmussen endorsement.David Rasmussen publicly endorsed Peter Russo to get his revenge on Frank for challenging him.It looked like Peter is set to beat Frank and become new House Whip, until Doug Stamper,Frank’s most loyal chief of staff found out some information about Congressman Russo’s cocaine addiction and history with prostitutes,Frank meets with Peter presenting him with the evidence and offers him a deal:”You drop your dumb race for the position that belongs me and i forget about all this, you go on and you are on a suicide mission.Tommorow, the entire country will know that you are cocaine addict who fucks prostitutes. It’s your choice.”After the meeting Congressman Russo conceded the race for Party Whip endorsing Frank Underwood to keep his office.

Underwood-Denton Meeting

Frank Underwood @Pringles:Rolls a 8!

Frank meets with his former Chief of Staff Remy Denton in a safe location.Remy is now working as a lobbyist for Glendon Hill, company owned by Raymond Tusk. After a bit of small talk,Frank offers Remy a partnership.Frank will give Remy some useful information about members of his caucus,so that Remy can lobby them easier if Remy agrees to give Frank information about Republican congressmen from swing districts,he knows Remy has dirt on.Remy is first reluctant, but when he hears that Frank’s sacrificial lamb is Peter Russo who his boss needs not to testify about the shipyard,Remy quickly accepts the deal and gives Frank all the information he wanted.

Stamper looks for Skeletons in GOP closets

Doug Stamper @Pringles:Rolls a 5!

Doug Stamper was on his way looking for skeletons in vulnerable Republican congressmen closets when Frank informed he already got all the information he needed from Remy Danton.Doug feels hurt, why didn't Frank trust him enough to let him handle it?

Linda contacts Downing Street

Linda Sanchez @Sean F Kennedy :Rolls a 9!

Linda is an effective Chief of Staff and quickly arranges a visit from the British Prime Minister hoping a successful foreign political meeting will give at least a bit of good press to her boss’ troubled presidency.

Barnes-Underwood Relationship Part.2

Zoe Barnes @WVProgressive:Rolls a 8!

Frank quickly sent incriminating data Remy gave him about Republican senators to his partner from the media world Zoe Barnes.Zoe quickly writes and publishes articles which cause turbulence in DC and give her good reputation and numerous news networks appearances talking about “her revelations discovered by investigative journalism” as she describes them.Zoe becomes a star in media world and her partnership with Frank seems to be paying off so far,but for how long and what will happen when it no longer does? We’ll find out!

Infrastructure Push

Congressional Democrats @Sean F Kennedy:Rolls a 6!

After the rough civil war amongst the party leadership Democrats found the cause to unite around in  the Infrastructure Bill. The entire party supports the proposal but it will need some Republican support as well in order to pass.

Tusk pushes Energy Reform to Loosen Regulation

Raymond Tusk @The Blood:Rolls a 5!

Remy Danton @The Blood:Rolls a 2!

Tusk tries to push his energy reform pet cause once again but gets the same response,we’ll see, this time he gets the pledge from the President it will be the next thing considered after infrastructure bill is passed.Unhappy with the answer,Tusk sends Remy to lobby but Republicans he exposed to Frank blamed him for revelations against them and warned other Congressmen about him,so he lost trust and credibility and more harmed than helped Tusk’s cause.

Media:

Tom Hammerschmidt will rejigger the Washington Herald's assignments based off of recent events;

he makes Zoe Barnes the new Head Political Correspondent, and White House Correspondent, where she pursues a more conciliatory policy towards the Walker administration;

he gives Janine Skorsky a special assignment to interview potential GOP Presidential Aspirants, hoping to capitalize on her newfound popularity with Republicans. Her first interviewee is Hector Mendoza;

Lucas Goodwin he places on the notoriously uninteresting metropolitan pages, but that doesn't stop the controversial reporter from starting his own private investigations. Lucas Goodwin dresses in non-descript clothing to obscure his identity as he stalks Frank Underwood from the shadows, hoping to find bombshell evidence of corruption.

Behind the Scenes:

Mark Usher will approach Frank Underwood, trying to build a working relationship.

Jane Davis will schmooze with leading Virginian business leaders
