pman
Obviously we all want women's suffrage early but the game's penalty is simply too serve. If we passed it, party preference would have gone done to +1 Red and we might have lost Congress.

We let them win Congress, they repeal Reconstruction and make a few other moves and then suddenly we go into the next election with it being Blue +2. That's how this game seems to work. Bushwa777
To explain why I only allowed 2 people to try to debate and convert: Any member of a Senator or House Committee with “debate” can also give a speech, but they will convert only 1 US Senator or 5 US House votes (depending on the debater’s house of congress) of a faction of their choice that is not led by a “Puritan” faction leader. Speeches have a 5-6 die roll chance of being successful. A politician can only give one speech per half-term

Yes you seem to be playing super liberal republicans and dictatorship republicans. But anyway if we get an economic crisis you might lose the house anyway. The senate we have no chance of taking for a good couple of rotations.
