Endorsement Request: Beto O’ Rourke meets with Nevada Senator Catherine Cortez Masto to request her endorsement. As a moderate to liberal establishment democrat she is an ideal pick for Beto ideologically, and they have both come onto the scene recently from humble backgrounds. Her support could burnish Beto’s strength with hispanic voters and moderates in the southwest, while adding a powerful supporter to his campaign in Nevada. O’ Rourke offers Catherine the position of Attorney General in his administration to sweeten the deal.

1.) Beto O’ Rourke stars on a series of local Iowa news channels, in the hopes of getting his face and name out to the voters of the state. He mentions his humble upbringing in El Paso, along with a desire to new perspectives and change to the Democratic Party.

2.) Beto O’ Rourke holds a concert in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to build his grassroots support in the state.

3.) Beto O’ Rourke expands his campaign HQ in Iowa, setting up volunteer divisions in major cities such as Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, and Davenport. He sets many of the volunteers, canvassers, and campaign organizers to work fundraising and phone banking to secure more money for the O’ Rourke campaign.

Endorsement: Pete McCloskey asks for the endorsement of Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. He offers to make her his Vice President, and promises to be the most progressive candidate in the election full stop.

1. Pete McCloskey uses his vast amounts of money to launch nonstop attack ads against Bernie Sanders, to begin taking his place as the new progressive icon.

”Bernie claims he is a progressive, but a quick look under the hood shows the truth. In 1990 he was opposed to gun control and background checks, he even got the endorsement of the NRA. He also flip-flopped on immigration, opposing opening our borders while still a congressman. Don’t fall for Bernie’s flip-flopping fake progressivism. Vote Pete McCloskey for a true left wing choice.”

2. Pete McCloskey spends his massive war chest on more attack ads against Bernie Sanders.

”Bernie Sanders calls himself a democratic socialist, but he owns multiple valuable properties and is a multimillionaire. Where did all the money come from, Bernie? Don’t support a champagne socialist who supports the bourgeois establishment. Vote Pete McCloskey for a true left wing choice.”

3. Pete McCloskey spends even more money on attacks ads against Bernie Sanders.

”Bernie Sanders calls himself a democratic socialist, but during his career he’s supported imperialist actions by the Israeli government against Palestinian civilians. This Zionism is something one would expect from Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, but for Bernie to take part in it is an unacceptable betrayal of left wing anti-imperialism. Don’t support an imperialist Zionist who supports aggressors in the Middle East. Vote Pete McCloskey for a true left wing choice.”

1. Kirsten Gillibrand will soldier through the accusations that she is a flip flopper - she's heard them all before. Before representing New York as its senator, she had a conservative past. She was once a leading member of the Blue Dog coalition and she'll never shy away from that fact. That kind of evolution from Democratic moderate to a staunch fighter for liberal values is what makes Gillibrand so unique - she understands why conservatives feel the way they do and how to change their mind. At least, that's the pitch she's making in her newest advertisement praising her political transformation as the kind of experience that is needed to defeat Donald Trump.

2. Gillibrand is undeterred in New Hampshire. At a rally in Manchester, she'll come out broadly for "massive healthcare expansion" without going into details at this time exactly what that might entail.

3. Finally, Gillibrand will speak with her supporters in Iowa where she'll condemn Donald Trump for his backwards immigration policy.

This McCloskey sounds like Peter Diamondstone.

1) This McCloskey says that Bernie is not left-wing/left wing enough. Sounds like what Peter Diamondstone would say. He called Bernie a capitalist and pro-war. (I have doubts that Bernie is a Marxist, but still...)

2) Again, like this McCloskey, Peter Diamondstone has a negative attitude toward Zionism.

In other news, during an interview with ABC, Pete McCloskey was seen arguing with Richard Ojeda and MIchael Bloomberg about Israel. Things got heated and the moderators lost control.

1. Biden will sit down with the Nevada Lt. Governor Kate Marshall, discussing with her the possibility of an endorsement for Joe's campaign, with Biden going so far as to offer his own possible endorsement of her in a Nevada Gubernatorial election once Sisolak's two terms are up.

2. Biden will tour South Carolina, wearing aviator sunglasses as he meets with the African American communities, leaders, and advocacy groups in the state.

3. Biden will declare "Come on man!" when asked about Sanders' recent attack ad against him while campaigning in NH. He will hit back, declaring that while he's led a long life of public service, working across the aisle and with fellow Democrats to get things done, Sanders has " been exhibiting the definition of insanity by calling for revolution over and over again and expecting something to change."

SHERROD BROWN

(3) Areas that voted Trump do have Trump supporters, the wrong crowds turn up to Brown's events and give him a rough time speaking.

(6) The meeting goes well. While Brown doesn't make a massive splash he certainly puts out a good message among black voters.

(8) Brown does well with the working class! Nevada is starting to look contentious and Brown is making a strong showing!

Endorsement: 69! Merkley endorses Brown!

Funding: 4 Brown takes a hit, it doesn't seem as though any money comes into the campaign this week.

Momentum: 2 -3 +1 = 0

MIKE GRAVEL

(5) Gravel does okay. While he doesn't make any big splashes he meets some voters and gains some support.

(3) Gravel has been out of politics for a long time. The long retirement seems to counter the experience argument.

(7) Social media outreach saves Gravel! #GoGrandpa is building and abstract style Gravel ads are all over.

Overall: 0, Gravel doesn't seem to be progressing

Funding: 85, Gravel's dark money is a-flowin'

Momentum: 6 +2 = 8

MICHAEL BLOOMBERG

(4) The Charleston rally doesn't go too well. Bloomberg avoids embarrassment but that's all that can be said.

(4) Bloomberg has obviously never been to McDonalds. The NY billionaire visits in a three piece suit and many voters can't speak to him without going through his security.

(2) Bloomberg stumbles and doesn't seem to know the point he is making.

(3) Bloomberg has a little too much fun in the casinos and oversleeps the next day, setting his carefully planned week back.

Endorsement: 30, The Pawn Stars star doesn't have an interest in politics.

(1!) Bloomberg arrives in South Carolina with a big "Hello North Carolina!"

Overall: -4, Bloomberg is spending big but failing in himself.

Funding: Self Funded

Momentum: 2 -1 = 1

JOHN BEL EDWARDS

(4) Edwards seems to over saturate Louisiana slightly, still, no harm done.

Endorsement: 88 Landrieu endorses Edwards!

(2) The West Virigina rally goes badly. Edwards stumbles and leaves the "West" out in his entrance. (We've changed to one request a turn, so you can go after Manchin next turn)

(5) Edwards doesn't distinguish himself but makes a nice impression

(1!) Edwards his heckled by Trump supporters who overwhelm the rally. Edwards tries to soldier on but fails to stand up to the hecklers, making himself look worse.

Overall: 2, Edwards flops slightly but manages to keep his footing.

Funding: 42, Edwards manages to keep a steady flow of funding.

Momentum: 4 +1 = 5

RICHARD OJEDA

Endorsement Roll: 37

(9) While Ojeda isn't endorsed his media appearance goes well and manages to fix his deranged image.

(3) Ojeda can't make a break through with Trump supporters despite his own experiences.

Momentum: 2 +3 = 5

(9) Fresh off receiving an endorsement Harris flies into the rally. The Senator and Representatives give great speeches to the crowd.

(6) Harris doesn't explode onto the scene but makes a solid appearance.

(10!) Harris hits the mark. On top of a passionate speech she comes across as genuine and displays all the right opinions.

(2) SC doesn't take kindly to Californians.

Overall: 6, Harris has found her feet!

Funding: 4, Sadly, good appearances don't result in donations.

Momentum: 6 -3 +2 = 5

BETO O'ROURKE

Endorsement Roll: 61: Cortez Masto endorses O'Rourke!

(8) The young good-looking O'Rourke shines on TV, speaking eloquently and displaying a sense of humour.

(7) The concert is a success! An appearance by an old friend may even give Beto a key to the youth vote:

(None of you have to watch this, it's more for me XD)

(6) O'Rourke manages to set up good campaign infastructure!

Funding: 64, O'Rourke receives a good funding spike!

Overall: 4, O'Rourke's campaign is steadily progressing.

Momentum: 0 +1 +1 = 2

PETE McCLOSKEY

Endorsement Roll: 38, AOC doesn't endorse McCloskey

(4) The ad doesn't arm people against McCloskey but it fails to make an impact.

(10!) The ad strikes true. Bernie may lose some support and while it won't all head to McCloskey some certainly will.

(7) The ad receives some criticism but said criticism falls by the wayside and the ad hits its mark.

Overall: 2, McCloskey is finally getting some footing appearance wise.

Funding: 67, McCloskey's funding is holding strong but is no longer at the astronomical amounts it was.

Momentum: 2 +1 = 3

KIRSTEN GILLIBRAND

(1!) The response goes terribly! The "evolution" statement is quickly flipped into Gillibrand listing her "flip flops" and many begin to question her integrity.

(6) The lack of details raises a few questions, but, the promise of healthcare expansion pleases a lot of attendees.

(6) While an often used talking point it's still a popular one and Gillibrand nails it!

Overall: -6 While she makes some good appearances the Gillibrand campaign is still struggling.

Funding: 57, Luckily her funding holds steady.

Momentum: 1 -1 = 0

BERNIE SANDERS

(6) Sanders' ad fairs well, though it's not outstanding.

(10!) Bernie hits the mark! He empathizes, responds well and overall wins people over!

Momentum: 6 -3 +2 = 5

JOE BIDEN

Endorsement Roll: 35

Overall: 5, Biden's campaign hasn't let up yet!

Funding: 92! Biden is receiving the near united support of his base!

Momentum: 10 +1 +3 = 14!

POLLING

BIDEN: 39%

SANDERS: 27%

BROWN: 10.7%

EDWARDS: 5.5%

O'ROURKE: 3.8%

BLOOMBERG: 2%

HARRIS: 1.9%

GRAVEL: 1%

GILLIBRAND: 0.8%

OJEDA: 0.5%

McCLOSKEY: 0.1%

------------------------------------------------------------------

Biden's momentum surges and he manages to expand his lead massively giving himself 12 points over his closest competitor Senator Bernie Sanders, who himself had a good week and had his own polling see an increase.

Ohio's Sherrod Brown had an uneventful week and saw only a slight polling bump, the same goes for Governor Edwards who managed to increase his polling but seems to teeter on the edge of dropping in the polls.

Congressman O'Rourke's campaign saw a good time with a good media appearance and steady fundraising. Mayor Bloomberg however floundered and has seen a decrease in his numbers.

Kamala Harris made some excellent appearances and has increased her numbers strongly. On the other hand Senator Gillibrand has seen herself drop below the 1% mark in an extraordinarily painful week for her campaign.

Mike Gravel has seen social media increase his name recognition and campaign strength allowing him to surpass Senator Gillibrand. Ojeda had a varied week but managed to come out of it well with McCloskey having some good signs but failing to gain.
