Faction Leaders

President Richard Nixon (Mod, @Largo833) faction leader by default. He lost obscure, but literally was not obscure.

Quote
  • The faction leader must have an Ideology, and either an Interest or Lobby that matches the cards of the faction, since he or she is expected to represent that faction.

  • Faction leader must have “Leadership”

  • cannot be on the “career track.”

  • cannot have “incompetent”

  • cannot have the trait “lackey”

  • cannot have the “obscure” trait.

  • A non-president, non-incumbent party leader with “passive” has a 25% chance of declining the role, unless they are the only option.

I took so long so I could automate rolls for faction leaders (I hate the die rolls)

I guess Jesse Helms is only one I can do.  I put him down as faction leader on my page and on the main tab but he will not pull for Faction Leader sheet

To my knowledge Shirley Temple is the only person who can take mine.

We will be known as the Temple Republicans

All of my pols have obscure, none have leadership. Bob Graham has a matching lobby, so we'll go with him for my faction leader. Since Bill Clinton is in my faction, we'll go with the "New Democrats." (Unless we're adhering to the strict naming rules lol)

Gained leadership, +1 command, and easily overwhelmed 💀

@Arkansas Progressive From what I can tell, Ted Kennedy is the only one that I can use as Faction Leader so he's my choice.

Side no one checks all the boxes, it appears to be with House MajWhip McFall or Glenn. (Somehow Speaker Albert is obscure)

So If that's the case, I'll pick John Glenn.

lost obscure (didn't have it), gained integrity
